Workplaces right now look very different than they did even a few short months ago. Several years’ worth of changes occurred very rapidly. Pop your head into any office, and you are likely to find leaner-than-normal teams with only a few individuals opting to take up desk space.
As it becomes clear we will be coexisting with COVID-19 for years to come, investing in remote work would make sense. Of course, converting an existing, tight-knit workforce to a remote team is one thing. Onboarding new employees who will start and stay remote is a whole other ballgame.
